Join us for a West Seattle UBH tomorrow!

Minions!

I have returned!

After a small battle with illness and a large one with job training, I am ready -- so ready -- to hit the beer trails again. It's been over a month since my last beer hike in Sacramento, but the gears have been turning nonetheless and I've got a couple of hikes lined up.

So! Tomorrow -- Friday -- Mandy, Link and I are grabbing the rain gear and starting at the Luna Park Cafe in West Seattle.  (The #15 bus takes you right there from Ballard/Crown Hill.)  From there, we'll head north and go all the way around north Alki to Celtic Swell.  Then west to Alki Point to see the lighthouse (I love living in a city with lighthouses) and then march up the hill to Porterhouse.  From there it's an easy, flat straight line down the California Corridor:  Prost!, Elliott Bay Brewing, and finally Beveridge Place Pub.

Did I mention rain gear?  It could be wet.  And cold.  (Makes the beer taste all the better, I think.)

The route (map below) is a nice long one (about 9 miles), but should be fun.   If you can't get off work or something to start with us, please feel free to join us along the way.

E-mail me with any questions.  Hope to see you.
