Off to Bellingham...finally.

Today we'll grab the rain gear (Current conditions: 54° and rainy.  Joy.) and set off to Bellingham, WA for the first beer hike in months that ISN'T in Seattle.  Our plan is to begin at The Fountain Bistro on Broadway.  From there, we'll head over to Chuckanut Brewery and then over to my cranky friend Miller's house (he's hosting us tonight).  Miller has planned a short hike for us up into the woods of Sehome Hill Park.  Apparently the observation tower has a spectacular view, even on a lousy day like today.

After the returning from the woods, we'll probably have another can of Hamm's at Miller's and then we'll see who wants to join me at Boundary Bay Brewing.  From there, we'll head to our final stop, the Green Frog Acoustic Tavern ("No Crap On Tap!") for some beers and live music.

I've been looking forward to getting back up to Bellingham for a long time.  I'm just sorry that I won't be able to visit every place that I want to.  (The Up and Up, McKay's Taphouse, Bay on Bayou, Copper Hog, and others.)
