When I woke up this morning, my dog Link was starring at me. Anyone who has a cat knows just how unnerving this is. (How long have you been watching me? And why? Creepy...)
what? What?! WHAT DO YOU WANT?!??!
Anyway, when he gets like this I tend to think that he wants to go for a hike. That's when this idea popped into my head: why not walk to all of the opening night
Seattle Beer Week events? I took a quick mental inventory of the planned venues: Hale's Brewery for the
kick-off party,
Shultzy's in the University District, and the
finale at Naked City.
Totally doable.
So here's the map:

I'm thinking of getting to Hale's right at 5pm, have one or two and then hit the Burke-Gilman Trail east toward the U. District. I'll probably be ahead of the official schedule, but that's fine with me. I have daylight to think about. And I'd like to be the hell out of Naked City before Ian's shirt comes off. (Whatever that means.)
Ian's shirt will come off at some point. No question about that. It's just a matter of when. Naked City's the best bet, but depending on how the night goes it could happen at Shultzy's or on the bus.
